Two volunteers are being sought by the North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center, 1 Michelangelo Street to assist with several duties and responsibilities on Mondays and/or Fridays from 9am to 2pm. However hours could be flexible.
The Center provides a multitude of services and programs to low-income residents of the North End, West End and Beacon Hill and has two volunteer opportunities available.
Twice a week, the Center serves a hot, fresh home-cooked meal to neighborhood seniors or anyone needing a meal and a companion.
Two volunteers are needed to help with shopping, food preparation, cooking, serving and cleanup on Mondays and Fridays.
In addition, volunteers are needed for the Center’s food pantry to help with picking up and delivering food donations to clients.
Interested parties should contact the Center’s Director Lia Tota at 617-523-8125, ext. 201 or West End Program Coordinator Geetha Renganathan at the same phone number.
