Rain dampened the North End Athletic Association (NEAA) Baseball Opening Day activities.
NEAA Baseball Director Ralph Martignetti was forced to re-schedule the festivities to Saturday, May 10 with the entire league playing games.
This year, opening day will be played in memory of Ralph DeMarco a life-long member of the Association.
Besides the Little, Minor and T-Ball games, there will be a free barbecue and a raffle to benefit the many NEAA programs.
“Hopefully opening day will attract a lot of community residents, families and friends,†Martignetti said.
