Once again, the Frattorolli family spearheaded the 21st Taste of the North End, a popular neighborhood event that benefits the community in several ways.
Funds raised help the Casa Monte Casino that provides a place to stay for impoverished families from around the world while their children receive serious medical attention in Boston.
Local non-profit agencies also received funds to provide activities in the community.
The Frattarolis, back and 1993, started this special benefit with the support of North End restaurants at Saint John School.
Taste of the North End immediately started to grow bigger and bigger moving the U.S. Coast Guide Base, to the New England Aquarium, and the Sterite Memorial Rink.
Since its inception, the Taste of the North End has raised over $600, 000 for Casa Monte Casino and other local North End organizations.
Donato and Nancy Frattaroli started what has turned out to be a fabulous and well attended Italian event that has become a valuable asset to the neighborhood.
