Thomas Colvario
Retired Teamster, Of Winthrop, formerly of the North End
Thomas Colvario of Shirley Street, Winthrop passed away the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on December 16 after a brief illness. He was 70 years old.
Born in Boston, the beloved son of the late Madeline (Carterano) and Joseph Colvario, he grew up in the North End of Boston and moved to Winthrop more than 48 years ago. He enlisted in the US Army at an early age and after his discharge, he went to work driving tractor trailers. He was a member of the Teamsters and a former member the Don Orione Choir and the St. Lazarus Church Choir.
He was the loving husband of Claire (White) and the dear brother of Joseph Colvario and his wife, Jean of Winthrop, Maria Minchella of Beverly and the late Stephen, Anthony and John Colvario. He is also survived by one nephew and six nieces.
