Chamber Guest Speakers/Community Events Scheduled

Due to the Tuesday, November 5 City of Boston Municipal elections the North End Chamber of Commerce (NECC) will meet on Tuesday, December 3 at St. Leonard’s Hall on Prince Street.

Besides regular Chamber business there will be two guest speakers.

The implications of closing the Callahan Tunnel for extensive rehabilitation will be addressed by MassDOT Municipal Liaison John Romano and State Traffic Engineer Neil Boudreau.

Steve Tocco will discuss the planning of a new casino in Everett.

NECC’s upcoming community events include: sponsorship of the Fisherman’s Society trip to bring the Madonna to Sicily.

Planning is well underway for events and activities for the upcoming holiday season.

NECC will be handing out $25 gift cards for families in need and sponsoring the Nazzaro Community Center’s Christmas Party.

A beautiful Christmas Tree has been arranged for and will be coming soon.
