Due to the initiative of the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP) numerous community events, activities and programs take place at the popular park each year.
The Friends along with the City of Boston Parks Department also maintain the park that appears to be trash and debris free on a regular basis.
In order to accomplish all the above mentioned requires funding for the non-profit organization that is totally dedicated to the preservation of the well used park.
FOCCP has organized a fundraiser to help defray the cost of park community events.
“A Park For All Seasons” gaming evening at the Fairmont Battery Wharf on Saturday, November 16. Tickets are available at www.foccp.org.
This is a great opportunity to acknowledge the great work of FOCCP and to help provide bigger and better neighborhood endeavors at the park.
