NEWRA Elects Officers

Congratulations to the newly elected officers of the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).

It’s important that residents step to the plate as leadership on the community volunteer organization that works for the betterment and preservation of the neighborhood.

Being in a position to make decisions that directly impact the neighborhood is not an easy task and sometimes pits neighbor against neighbor.

Having watchdog committees is the backbone of the community and without them there could be no neighborhood to speak of.

In addition, having solid leadership on committees is equally important.

Elected were: Jim Salini President, Ford Cavallari Vice-President, Nicole Rafter Treasurer, Elizabeth Ghiseline Secretary and Ed Rice Sergeant at Arms.
