NEAA Dodgers Update

The NEAA Senior Dodgers (21u) of the Tompkins All-Star Baseball League ran their record to 4-0 throttling an overmatched Acton team by a score of 13-0. Vin Lopriore ran his record to 2-0 throwing 5 innings of one hit baseball while striking out 9. The Dodgers got offense from up and down their line-up led by Mike Martignetti with 3 hits and 3 rbi, Vin Lopriore with two hits and 3 rbi, Nick Iudiciani with two hits and two rbi and Pat O’Donnell with two hits and 3 runs scored. The Dodgers try to get to 5-0 on Friday June 28th vs Winthrop at Bunker Hill CC.

The NEAA Senior Dodgers (16-18) of the RBI league ran their record to 4-0 beating the Twins 14-4. Nick Iudiciani picked up the win in relief of Anthony Coppola as the Dodgers exploded for 11 runs in the bottom of the 4th on their way to an easy win. The Dodgers offense was led by Ryan Colbert with two doubles and 2 rbi, Anthony Coppola with three hits and three rbi, and Nick Iudiciani with a 3 run home run. The Dodgers look to go to 5-0 Thursday June 27th at 8pm vs the Pirates at Jim Rice field.

The NEAA Junior Dodgers (13-14) of the Tompkins All-Star Baseball League picked up their first win of the season by beating Billerica 7-4. The Junior Dodgers were led by 4 strong innings on the mound from JC Pezzuto. Pezzuto allowed one earned run while striking out 4 in his four innings of work. Lorenzo Pantaleo slammed the door with two shut-out innings and the Dodgers got their record to 1-2. Pantaleo also chipped in with a triple and two runs scored while Chris Troiano had two hits and one rbi and Coleman Shea had a hit and scored a run. The Dodgers next game is Wednesday June 26th at 5:45 vs Reading at Puopolo Park.

The Neaa Junior Dodgers (13-15) of the RBI League ran their record to 5-1 with a 6-1 victory over the Brighton Tigers. The Dodgers got 5 innings of one-hit ball from Brett McAllister on the mound and cruised to the easy victory. McAllister also contributed to the offense with a bases loaded two run double in his only at bat. Dodgers also got offensive contributions from Robert Pagliuca who was 3 for 3 and Fernando Soto who had two hits. The Dodgers try to get to 6-1 Monday June 24th with a 5:45 start vs the Nationals at Puopolo Park.
