Two potential developers for Parcel 9 in the North End will present Request For Proposal plans at a MassDOT/Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for tomorrow evening, Wednesday, March 20 at 6pm at the Mariners House, 11 North Square.
Development of this parcel of land has been an ongoing discussion for years and hopefully residents and other interested parties can come to a consensus as to just how to build on this prime piece of property owned by MassDOT.
Once a project has been finally selected, there will be no turning back and that will be what the community has to live with for a long time.
With community input, a plan will be selected with possible changes and give and take suggestions.
Obviously, this is a big development that residents should enlighten themselves on what exactly will take place on Parcel 9.
The best way to do this is to make the time to attend the community meeting.
