Bingo for Prizes Supports Local Marathon Runner

A large number of Bingo players turned out at the Nazzaro Center in support of Maria Shea.

BINGO was the lucky word at the Nazzaro Community Center as a benefit fundraiser was held to support a local Marathon runner who will run the 26.2 Boston Marathon route this April in support of the Red Sox Foundation.

North End resident Maria Shea will participate in the 117th Boston Marathon honoring her dear friend Rosanne Ameno and many others who suffer from or have passed away from cancer. Her venture from Hopkinton to Boston has the support of the Nazzaro Community Center staff as well as many community residents.

The Bingo for Prizes Party was well attended and numerous prizes were donated including a Luxurious Hotel Stay (valued at $400), Chocolate Bar Buffet at Cafe Fleuri at the Langham Boston, a Massage from Chuan Body + Soul, Red Sox Tickets, signed Red Sox items, a Lottery/Scratch Tickets Basket,  Coffee Basket, Restaurant Gift Certificates and much more.
