Committee to Discuss Four Agenda Items

Four agenda items are scheduled for review and discussion at the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association Zoning, Licensing and Construction Committee  November 27 monthly meeting scheduled for 7pm at the Mariners House, 11 North Square.

1.Head house extension plans.

2.The procedures involved in the purchase a restaurant. NEWRA policies on liquor licenses and neighbor notification will be considered at the public meeting.

3.50 Snow Hill Street, David Thyresson has filed an appeal for Zoning Code relief to expand the existing head house on the roof of the single-family building.

4.253 Hanover Street (Marco’s), Massimo Tiberi plans to purchase the restaurant and has applied to the Licensing Board for transfer of the existing Malt and Wine with Cordials license, with no change to hours of operation, capacity or seating.

NEWRA Policy on Approval of Alcohol Licenses: Follow-up on the discussion and decisions at the November 8, 2012 NEWRA meeting.

NEWRA Neighbor Notification Policy: The ZLC Committee will consider whether any changes to the policy are warranted.

The committee is co-chaired by David Kubiak and Victor Brogna.
