Pasquale ‘Pat’ Coppola

Retired Herald Delivery Driver and

Teamsters Union Representative

Pasquale A. “Pat” Coppola of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Boston’s North End, a retired Boston Herald Delivery Driver, died on September 13. He was 91 years old.

Mr. Coppola was employed in the Delivery Department of the Boston Herald for more than 40 years. He was a retired member of Teamsters Local 259 where he served as a Union Representative.

Born in Boston’s North End on January 31, 1921 to Raffaele and Concetta (Parciabosco) Coppola, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary (Parziale) Coppola, his siblings, Angela Giallanella, Gus Coppola and Frank Coppola. Mr. Coppola is survived by his son, Ralph Coppola of St. Petersburg, FL, a brother Joseph of Medford, a sister Joanna DeMarco of Boston, four grandchildren, Patricia, Bernadette, Christopher and Tanya, and six great-grandchildren. Services were private.

Peter Aloise

Florida Resident, formerly of the North End

Peter Aloise of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of the North End of Boston, died on September 3.

He was the beloved husband of Mary Aloise and the late Margaret “Margie” Aloise; loving father of Maria Ricci and her husband, John of Winthrop and JoAnn LaPorte and her husband, James of Malden; beloved brother of Mary Juffre, Gene Spatola, Elena Scimone, Rosalie Martocchio and the late John. He is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Aimee Galego, Michelle Lineberger, Peter and Floey LaPorte and four loving great grandchildren, Michela, Mia and Maximus Galego and Roman Lineberger.

Funeral arrangements were by the Salvatore, Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. roccofuneralhomes.com.
