Joi Salon & Spa Escape will hold a benefit event, “joi of summer” to benefit the Nazzaro Community Center programs.
The salon, located at 2 Atlantic Avenue will offer several services for a $20 donation with the proceeds going to the popular and well utilized Center at 30 North Bennet Street.
The theme is “Treat Yourself While Helping Others”.
Some of the services offered will be “surf” hair style lessons, seated massage, OPI polish changes and spray tanning.
The benefit will be held on Wednesday, July 18 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and will also include light fare and cocktails donated by local eateries and great raffle items.
Manager Jessica Chisholm said, “The salon has been here for ten years and most of us live in the North End, many of our clients, children , are members of the Nazzaro Community Center, so we just wanted to give something back to the neighborhood.”
Director Carl Ameno thanked the salon for assisting the Center.
