Aaron Michlewitz

The recent fundraiser held in the North End for the friends of Representative Aaron Michlewitz was a great success. Hundreds of his friends and neighbors attended.

The crowd was an eclectic mix of  North End residents – old and young, men and women, lifelong North Enders and newcomers, the well to do and those who grew-up here and remain in the homes where they’ve lived all their lives.

In such a crowd, Michlewitz shines.

In a short time, he has made his mark on Beacon Hill as well as in the neighborhood where he was raised and which he loves.

His time was representative of a young man rising, whose popularity is rising, whose future is bright and whose interest in his neighborhood is high.

He’s been in the House for three years and was just named a committee chair by Speaker Robert DeLeo.

That says a lot about young Rep. Michlewitz.

The large crowd at his time, however, said it all – that, and the fact he is running unopposed is the ultimate statement about where he’s at.
