Ralph ‘Rara’ Ruzzo

North End Resident

Ralph “Rara”Ruzzo of Boston North End, died on April 2. He was 66 years old.

He was the beloved husband of Olympia M. (Ciampa) Ruzzo; loving father of Ralph P. Ruzzo Jr. and his wife, Janet and Roseann Ruzzo, all of Revere; cherished brother of Domenic Ruzzo of Peabody, Theresa Rizzo and Dorles Pezzano, both of the North End, Paula Bonasoro of Groveland and the late Anthony Ruzzo, Antoinette Ventole and Gina Mederias; loving grandfather of Anthony and Amara Ruzzo. He is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral arrangements were by the Boston Harborside Home J.S. Waterman & Sons-Waring-Langone, Boston. Entombment was at Holy Cross Mausoleum. Ernest Azzone

Of Belmont, formerly of the North End

Ernest Azzone of Belmont, a former resident of Belmont and Boston’s North End, died on March 29.

He was the beloved son of the late John F. and Rafaella (Basso) Azzone and brother of the late Florence Small, Eleanor DeGeorge, Millie Roberto, Jennie Spanoghe, Mary Marinacci, Edith Puopolo, Clara, Tom, Mike, Dario, Pat and Ralph Azzone. He will be dearly missed by his nephew Belmont Fire Lieutenant Tino Azzone and his wife, Cathy and their son Dario of Belmont; his brother-in-law and good friend, Paul DeGeorge of Dennisport and also by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Brasco & Sons Memorial, Belmont. Burial was at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Soldier’s Home, 91 Crest Ave., Chelsea, MA 02150. Carmine ‘Barney’

‘Cabbage’ Colarusso North End Resident

Carmine J. “Barney” “Cabbage” Colarusso of Boston’s North End died on April 2. He was 85 years old.

The beloved son of the late Ardita (Pizzano) and Giuseppe Colarusso, he was the loving brother of the late Anthony “Tony” L. Colarusso and Sabato “Sammy” Colarusso; cherished brother-in-law of Teresa Colarusso; loving uncle of Joseph Colarusso, Joyce Pedi, Jeana Limone and Steven Colarusso and is also survived by 10 great nieces and great nephews and a great-great niece. Arrangements were by the Boston Harborside Home, J.S. Waterman & Sons-Waring-Langone. Burial was at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
