Baseball Season is Just Around the Corner

The sun is out, the fields are dry and baseball season is upon us! The NEAA is still taking registrations for our baseball programs but time is running out! NEAA baseball provides programs for players age 4-19 (age as of 4/30/2012). We start with tryouts for our Major League (ages 9-12) on Saturday March 31st at Noon at Langone Park in the North End. Here is a list of the programs and their dates:

Clinic for 4 year old starts Saturday April 28th at 10am. This clinic is run by the legendary Dom Campochiarro and takes place at Langone Park every Saturday throughout the summer.

Tee Ball for 5 year olds starts Sunday April 29th at 10am. The Tee Ball league will be run by John and Billy Pregmon and will take place at Langone Park every Sunday throughout the summer.

Minor League for ages 6-8 starts Wednesday May 2nd. The Minor league is run by Steven Siciliano. Coaches will be Dan Toscano, Mike Bevilacqua, Tim Griffin and Ryan Kenny. The Minor league will play games every Wednesday and Friday starting at 5:30. Games will be played at Langone Park and Puopolo field.

AAA Clinic for ages 8-9 starts Monday April 30th. The AAA Clinic will be run by Ryan Kenny and Tim Griffin and will take place every Monday at 5:30 at Langone Park. This will be another night of baseball for our 8 year olds who also play in the Minors and our 9 year olds who also play in the Majors

Major League for 9-12 year olds starts Saturday April 28th. The Majors will play Tues at 5:30, Fri at 7:30 and Sat at 4:00pm and 6:30pm. The Major League is run by Ralph Martignetti. Head Coaches will be Dom DiCenso, John Pezzuto, Dan Shea, and Alfredo Vilar.

The Dodgers will once again field 3 teams. The Freshmen Dodgers ages 13-14 will be coached by Chuck Bilikas and will have a tryout (time and date to be determined). The Junior Dodgers will be coached by Aaron Michlewitz and Matthew Imbergamo. The Senior Dodgers will be coached by Ralph Martignetti and Randy Foley.
