The holiday spirit was flowing and children’s faces were glowing when Santa Claus arrived at Puopolo Park by helicopter to participate in the 41st Annual North End Christmas Parade presented each year by the North End Athletic Association.
Hundreds of
North Enders residents and former North End residents and friends turned out for the very popular holiday event which has become a neighborhood tradition.
Clowns, elves, reindeer, Wally the Green Monster and several marching bands led the parade through the local streets, handing out balloons and candy along the way.
The Nazzaro Community Center, North End Against Drugs and the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Tourism and Special Events helped make this festive holiday endeavor the success it was.
