Anna Chirichiello

North End resident

Anna R. (Poupolo) Chirichiello of Boston’s North End died on Nov. 7. She was 84 years old.

She was the daughter of the late Angelo Poupolo and Domenica (Bucci); beloved wife of the late Rocco J. Chirichiello; loving mother of John Chirichiello and the late Carol Settipane-Curran; grandmother of John Settipane and Paula Palmer and great-grandmother of John, James and Alessandra. She also leaves her sisters Camilla Vita and Jenny Chirichiello and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Boston Harborside Home. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. www.bostonharborsidehome.com

Peter Lazzarino

Worked for Boston Edison

Peter A. Lazzarino of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston and the North End, died on November 6.

A late employee of Boston Edison Co., he was the beloved husband of more than 40 years to Dolores (Payne)Lazzarino; devoted father of Nicholas Mustacchio and his wife, Lisa of East Boston, Warren Mustacchio and his wife, Anna of the North End of Boston and Jeanine Gaeta and her companion, Jonathan Markiewicz of East Boston; dear brother of Katherine Kenny of East Boston and the late Anna Testa and James Lazzarino;  cherished grandfather of Nicole, Michael, Gina, Gabriella, Nicholas and Nicholas and is also survived by many adored nieces and nephews.

Helen Fulginiti

Of Beacon Hill, formerly of the North End

Helen M. (Anzalone) Fulginiti of Beacon Hill, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on November 3. She was 94 years old.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Tomasina (Carbone) and Vincent Anzalone; loving wife of the late Amadeo J. Fulginiti; loving mother of Anne Fulginiti and her husband, David Davidson of Acton, and John Fulginiti and his wife, Diane of Boston; cherished grandmother of Rachel and Luke Davidson and Thomas and Nicholas Fulginiti; beloved sister of the late Emilio Anzalone and Attilio “Eddie” Anzalone.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Anzalone of Walpole, her two nieces Susan Parsons of Boston and Nancy Brachold of Norfolk, and her close friend, Mary Conti of Chelmsford.

Funeral arrangements were by the Boston Harborside Home. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Laura Brogna

Of Medford, formerly of the North End

Laura L. (Picone) Brogna of Medford, formerly of the North End, died on November 2.

The beloved wife of the late Frank Brogna, she was the daughter of the late Rose (Cogliano) and John Picone; devoted mother of Marie “Cookie” Romano and her late husband, Robert and Johanne Brogna, both of Medford and formerly of the North End; loving Grandma of Mark and Loreen Romano and their daughter, Cristina, Michael and Laurie Romano and their son, Max, Lisa and James Buckhalter and their daughter, Emily, and the late Laurann Romano Paragona. She was the sister of Anthony (Pinkey) Picone of Wilmington and Medford, formerly of the North End, and the late Domenic, Mario (Frank Mason) and Frank (Tex) Picone, Mary LoVuolo, Stella Giovinno and Rita Mancinelle.

Rosario George ‘Georgie Hats’ Coppola

North End resident

Rosario George “Georgie Hats” Coppola of the North End of Boston died on November 2.

He was the beloved husband of the late Louise (LuLu Manganiello) Coppola; loving father of Charles Coppola of Weymouth, Ann and her husband, Emil Bevilacqua, Barbara and her husband, James D’Ambrosio and Anthony and his wife, Candy Coppola, all of Boston. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was the loving brother of Rico Coppola of Reading, Mrs. Carmella “Millie” Palomba of Everett and the late Jerry and Rudy Coppola.

Arrangements were by the Cincotti Funeral Home of Medford. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Memorial contributions may be made to the North End Community Nursing Home, 70 Fulton St., Boston, MA 02109 or St. John’s School, Moon Street, Boston, MA 02113.
