Hoping to decorate the neighborhood throughout the holiday season, the newly formed North End Beautification Committee is currently soliciting funding and volunteers to join in a mission to preserve and enhance the aesthetic integrity of the historic neighborhood.
“We hope to enrich the community through creative and innovative beautification enhancements,” Stephen Passacantilli, a committee members said.
The committee is a community based volunteer organization that eventually plans to be a non-profit agency with plans to continuously beautify the neighborhood in many ways working with City Hall, elected officials, the business community and local neighborhood groups.
The committee is seeking donations in the form of Elite Sponsors $200.00, Good Neighbor $100.00 and Friend $50.00. Checks can be made payable to The North End Beautification Committee, 406 Hanover Street, Boston, MA 02113.
For more details call Passacantilli at 617-594-6158, Patricia Thiboutot at 617-620-3881 or Allison Seavey at 617-821-5155.
