Each month the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association Clean Streets Committee recognizes a local business or resident as a Good Neighbor for continuously cleaning the sidewalk and curb in front of their place of business or dwelling.
Michele Tirella has been selected to receive the October 2011 award for her daily cleaning on several streets in the community.
Michele is the first non-business owner to be presented the Committee’s Good Neighbor Award for helping to keep the North End community clean.
Michele was nominated at a NEWRA Clean Streets monthly meeting and the members voted her to receive the Good Neighbor Award by a wide margin.
