In case you haven’t noticed there is a lot of sidewalk repairs underway in the North End.

The project calls for 15,000 square feet of local sidewalks to be repaired to make them safer for residents and the thousands of visitors that pass through the neighborhood and the Freedom Trail.

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, Public Works Commissioner Joanne Massaro and District One Boston City Councilor Sal LaMattina were recently in the community to announce the sidewalk repair project.
