Patrick DeSimone

Of Revere, formerly of the North End

Patrick M. DeSimone of Revere, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on April 3.

A former employee of the Revere DPW, he was also a former member of Orioles Nest 123.

He was the beloved son of the late Pasquale “Patsy” and Carmella (Zaccaria) DeSimone; dear brother of John DeSimone of Revere; loving uncle of Lorene Griffin and her husband, Daniel, of Billerica, Karen DeSimone of S. Yarmouth and grand uncle of Alexandra and Jake Griffin. He is also survived by many loving cousins.

Funeral arrangements were by the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, Revere. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1905. For guestbook please visit www.Buonfiglio.com

Rita Lucente

Revere resident

Rita (Napoleone) (Lucente) of Revere, formerly of the North End and East Boston, died on March 28 after a long illness. She was 82 years old.

A homemaker, she lived in Revere for most of her adult life.

She was the beloved wife of Michael Lucente Sr.; devoted mother of Anthony of Revere, Gina Farrell and her husband, Stephen, of Wakefield, Michael Jr. and his wife, Renee, of Westford; dear sister of Marie Napoleone of the North End and Umberto Napoleone of Westwood and is also survived by her five loving grandchildren, Kaitlin and Kathleen Farrell, Nicole, Marissa and Michael Lucente III and many nieces and nephews.
