Boston Shines schedules North End Clean-Up

-by Phil Orlandella

Boston Shines along with Mayor Thomas M. Menino will conduct a major North End neighborhood clean-up, its ninth annual event to keep communities clear of debris and other objects.

The Mayor is encouraging North End residents to participate and bring out friends, family members, neighbors and colleagues for some old fashion spring clean-up.

Those interested should be at the Prado on Saturday, April 30 at 9am. Participants should gather at the North End Music and Performing Arts Center located in the center of the Paul Revere Mall between Hanover and Unity Streets.

To volunteer or for more information contact the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services at 617-635-3485.
