William Torsiglieri

Of Weymouth, formerly of the North End

William J. Torsiglieri of Weymouth, formerly of the North End of Boston, entered into eternal life on October 27. He was 85 years old.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he was the beloved husband of the late Frances P. (Orlandella); devoted father of Christine A. and Leonard C. Torsiglieri, both of Weymouth; beloved brother of Arthur J. of Chatham Township, N.J.; loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, Weymouth. Burial was in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.

 

Lucia ‘Lucy’ Di Leo

Of Lynn, formerly of Everett and the North End of Boston

Lucia “Lucy” (Rizza) Di Leo of Lynn, formerly of Everett and the North End of Boston, died peacefully on October 28 at home with her family by her side.

A loving mother, grandmother and homemaker, her favorite pastime was cooking Italian feasts for her Sunday family dinners.

Born in Boston’s North End, she was the loving daughter of the late Francesco and uiseppina (Spiculia) Rizza; the beloved wife of the late Antonio R. Di Leo with whom she shared 60 years of marriage; loving mother of Ronald Di Leo and his wife, Sandra, of California, Joanne Mellen and her husband, Bill, of Lynn, Anthony Di Leo and his wife Rosanne, of Everett, Theresa Burns and her husband, David, of Arizona, Thomas Di Leo and his wife, Cheryl, of Georia, Joseph Di Leo and his wife, Mary Kelley of Revere and the late Dennis Di Leo; dear sister of Luciano Rizza an dhis wife, Nina, of Connecticut. “Mama “Lucy” was the cherished grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of seven.
