North End Pride Week and Pride Day, 8 days of activities, events and programs was held at various venues throughout the neighborhood last week.
Hosted by North End Against Drugs in conjunction with the Nazzaro Community Center and several other local agencies, funded by donations from corporations, organizations, grants and personal contributions to the tune of $15,000 of operating costs.
All events, activities, entertainment, demonstrations and educational programs were provided free to all participants.
NEAD President John Romano said, "Once again everyone came through to make Pride Week and Pride Day another terrific neighborhood event."
