The grant, part of the Foundation’s "My Summer in the City" Grant Program will be used to off-set the cost for Family Pride Week which is currently underway with events and activities scheduled through Sunday, August 7.
"NEAD is very grateful to Robert Lewis, Jr. a long-time neighborhood friend and The Boston Foundation for the generous grant," President John Romano said.
"The grant helped us to approach our goal of raising the needed $15,000 for this year’s event," Romano added.
