The 2026 North End Athletic Association Fall soccer program is the biggest it has ever been. “With over 230 players on 18 teams in 3 age groups it has grown beyond my wildest imagination.” stated NEAA Sports Coordinator John Romano. We started playing in the outfield grass of the Little League Field on Saturday mornings, with coaches playing with the 9-12 group just to be able to field 2 teams. We now have 44 coaches, 6 Coordinators and several other volunteers that help keep the program going. Many of the coaches and some parents have even begun playing themselves after practices and on the weekends when we can squeeze them in on the crowded Puopolo Turf Field.
Soccer is one of 4 sports offered this Fall along with Girls Field Hockey, Flag Football and baseball clinics.
“We are especially grateful to all the volunteers who make the program such a huge success. We also couldn’t make it so affordable with all kinds of great equipment without all of our sponsors.
Keep your eye out for the first eve North End Mayor’s Cup Travel teams and their colorful uniforms. We practice Tuesdays and Thursday and play games on Saturday’s and now coming are the aforementioned Mayor’s Cup practices on Sundays and Mondays. Stop by and see some great programming on the North End pitch!
