NEWNC opposes Charter Street roof top proposal
A request by the property owner of 93 Charter Street for a zoning variance for a project that would add a decorative roof railing with stairs to the top of the head house on existing roof deck for increased safety was opposed by the North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) at the July monthly meeting, according to President Kevin Fleming.
Local feast societies presented an update on upcoming feasts. Opening and closing hours, safety and cleanup were the main points of interest.
There will be no NEWNC meeting in August.
