Edwards a solid North End City Councilor

Boston District Boston City Counselor Lydia Edwards has been noticeably active in the North End, responding to any and all issues and concerns relating to the neighborhood.

Edwards has made herself available to the community at any given time or place to assist the neighborhood to resolve things that directly impact the area.

She has clearly responded in a positive and productive manner.

Let’s spend the day at the pool

Pool goers at Boston Youth and Families Center (BYFC) run North End Mirabella Pool are not pleased with the 1 hour and 45-minute time limit being imposed at the public swimming hole adjacent to Puopolo Park.

Complaints have been registered at City Hall hoping to change the rule that resulted due to the lack of life guards.

Visitors have to register one day ahead of time to secure a time slot each day.

After the session is complete, the pool is cleared and cleaned and the next registered group is allowed into the pool area.

Following each timeframe, those wanting to return to the pool have to reregister and can only be approved if the next session or any other sessions are not full.

BYFC has encouraged pool goal is not to seek no more than one session per day.

Whatever happened to let’s spend the day at the pool?
