NEWRA Cancels August Meeting

North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) has canceled its Thursday, August 12 monthly meeting due to conflicts with the opening of the Fisherman’s Feast.

The next monthly meeting will be Thursday, September 9 at 7 PM.

Men’s Softball Underway

North End Men’s Softball League is underway at Puopolo Park. Eight teams are competing in the league’s regular season championship with playoffs to take place.

Tea and Tranquility at Heritage Park

Join American Heritage Park on Wednesday, August 11 at 4 PM for a Tea and Tranquility event and meet Chris Cook, Executive Director, The Greenway Conservancy and tie a ribbon on the wishing tree.

NEMPAC Jazz in the Park

North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) Jazz in the Park continues on Tuesday, August 10 at 6:30 PM on the Greenway with a performance by Niu Razza.

Library Has New Custodian

The North End Library has a new full-time custodian, Kristag Bufi, who came from the BPL Central branch. He has a reputation for excellence.
