North End Native Named Police Superintendent

North End native and longtime Boston Police officer and detective Chuck Wilson has been promoted to Superintendent.

Numerous people congratulated him on his promotion at the recent

District A-1 Boston Police National Night Out event held at the Paul Revere Mall (Prado) at North End Against Drugs Family Pride Week annual community gathering.

            Mayor Martin Walsh had many good things to say about the man born and raised in the North End and his dedicated work with the Police Department over the years.
