A kickoff meeting to discuss the Central Artery Parcel 2 design process was held August 14, by the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA), The Greenway Conservancy and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
Parcel 2 is a 5,000-square foot vacant lot between the Bulfinch Triangle and the North End, borded by North Washington Street, Valenti Way and Beverly Street.
BPDA oversaw an eight-month design process that will result in the construction of a new park on the parcel.
Once the park is completed, it will be located at the northern most part of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway network.
Attendees learned information relating to the design review process, shared ideas and how they can participate in shaping the park’s design.
