One of the best community events that takes place each year is without question, the North End Against Drugs Family Pride Day, which will be held at Christopher Columbus Park on Sunday, August 4, from noon to 4 p.m.
Featuring an annual hotly contested Bocce Expo, the community event also includes face painting, arts and crafts, a balloon artist, art contest and much more.
Entertainment will be provided by Crosstown at 12 noon, Street Magic at 1 p.m. and Vynyl Groove at 2 p.m.
NEAD President John Romano said, “This is our big event and hopefully many people will find some time to attend these annual neighborhood events that brings the community together for a fun filled time.â€
