“Many would agree that our senior citizens are the most vulnerable when it comes to gambling,†Boston Center for Youth and Families (BCYF) Nazzaro Community Center Administrative Coordinator Steven Siciliano suggests.
“Now that a new casino has open, the Nazzaro Center will be hosting a program called GameSense designed to provide valuable information to seniors and anyone who is interested in learning about the new program,†Siciliano said.
GameSense does not work for the casino but all casinos have a GameSense Information Center on site.
A GameSense advisor will come to the Nazzaro Center on July 9 at noon and share some tips on how to gamble.
The advisor will discuss what the odds of winning and losing are, and discussed ways to set and stick to a budget, and how to control your budget, and when to take a break.
