NEAA Majors All Star Game June 22

One of the North End’s most exciting event is the North End Athletic Association (NEAA) All Star Baseball Game held each year at Langone Field on Commercial Street.

The game offers the best players in the League to present their skills that shows why they were selected as All-Stars.

The game will start on Saturday, June 22, at 6 p.m. After the game, all the awards will be presented at the park.

Many awards will be presented by Commissioner Ralph Martignetti including MVP awards, special awards on the 2019 season, championship awards. All players will receive medals of recognition.

This year, the teams will be named in honor of Rocky Rossi and John “DA” DeAmarto for their many years of volunteer service to the community and the NEAA.

“We hope that past players, friends, families and neighbors will come to the park to enjoy the NEAA in honoring these two men who served the community for many years,” Baseball Coordinator John Romano said.

As part of the All-Star Game, pizza, soft drinks, snacks, and Italian slush will be given out. Face painting and balloon artists will also be available to entertain the kids.

Sponsors are needed to play this game each year. Those interested should contact John Romano at Romano45@gmail.com or 617-750-9749.
