The Friends of the North End Library are once again presenting an intriguing book talk. Author, Stephanie Schorow, will be at the North End Library on May 29, at 6:30 p.m. to talk about her book, Inside the Combat Zone.
Her presentation will tell about ‘the Stripped Down Story of Boston’s Most Notorious Neighborhood’. Boston history is a story of opposites. How does a neighborhood with its roots in Puritan Boston become ‘one of the most notorious adult entertainment districts in the nation?
The Friends’ programs have been standing room only this year.
This program is funded by the Friends of the North End Library.

Also, remember the library’s continuing improved daily book sale on the shelves near the front door and in the back of the library. The book sales are the source of the library’s funds to pay for these exciting programs. Buy a current best seller book -leave a favorite book you have read.
