NEAA Players and Families Attend Celtics Game

For the third time this year, and many times in the past, the North End Athletic Association (NEAA) has sent local players and family members to a Boston Celtics game. This year 20 players and their families attended the game between the San Antonio Spurs.

While the Celtics did not play well the group had an awesome time. Some of the attendees were at their first Celtics game.

Part of the many events provided by the NEAA is going to live sporting events over the different seasons. Plans are already in progress to attend to three Red Sox games this season.

On another note, the NEAA baseball programs registration has drawn 150 players between the ages of 4 to 21 that should produce another great season at both Langone Field and Puopolo Park on Commercial Street.

The organization is excited to have the sports complex area renovated this June thanks to Boston Mayor Martin Walsh and the Boston Parks Department. When completed, the new fields will be awesome and the NEAA will be able to increase programs to Flag Football while increasing the soccer field to full size. Not to mention an unbelievable baseball field, handicap access Bocce Courts a new play area and much more.
