Residents Honored at Luncheon

Two North End residents were honored at the North End Christmas Fund Luncheon for their community activities.

Olivia Scimera received the Uncle Fred Carangelo Humanitarian Award and Anna Gaeta received the Private Ernest J. Natale Community Service Award at Filippo’s Ristorante.

The traditional community event raises thousands of dollars each year for North End seniors, low income residents and families in need.

A festive array of salad, pasta, chicken and dessert was served. City Counselor Lydia Edwards and former Counselor Sal LaMattina were in attendance.
