Transformed into the nation’s largest local and sustainable food hub, The Greenway will be transformed into the Boston Local Food Festival on Sunday, September 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Festival goers, can learn about the benefits of sustainably grown and produced foods, shop the market, eating delicious foods, have fun, enjoy educational activities and exhibits.
Participants can engage with local chefs as the festival connects eaters of all backgrounds including farmers, fisherfolk, food trucks, chef demos, seafood throwdown, family fun zone, New England Village and special foods.
The Festival is zero waste. All perishable items sold are made from locally sourced products and the event is free.
