Beginner’s/Elementary Italian Classes

I Am Books, North Street will once again partner with professional language instructor MatteoRoncari for two courses of Italian, Beginner’s Italian Mondays starting September 10 and Elementary Italian III, Tuesday starting September 11.

Bocce Tournament

The 15th annual Taste of the North End Bocce Tournament, “Remembering Sal Balsamo” will be held on Sunday, September 9 at 10 AM at the Langone Bocce Courts on Commercial Street.

This is a scholarship event or the North End and includes a tournament T-shirt and a Joe Pace cookout. For more information email dfrattaroli@gmail.com.

Fall Soccer Registration

Registration for the North End Athletic Association (NEAA) fall soccer program is underway for 4+5, 6-8 and 9-12year old. For details email John Romano at jromano45@gmail.com.

North End        Community Forum

A North End Community Forum will be held on Wednesday, September 5 from 6-8pm in the Nazzaro Community Center. Topic: Community Preservation: Finding funds to support historic preservation, affordable housing and open space.

ARTS AND CRAFTS AT NSC

Arts and Crafts are held every Thursday from 10 AM to 11 AM through September at the Villa Michelangelo. For more info call 617-523-8125.

NSC BOUNA SERA AN EVENING WITH FRIENDS

Saint Anthony’s Feast will be held on the weekend of August 23-26 on Endicott, North Margin and Thacher Streets.

 

GIRL FRIENDS OF             THE NORTH END

Friends of North End Reunion

FONE Bocce                     on Sundays

The Friends of the North End (FONE) will play bocce almost every Sunday morning throughout the summer at the North End Bocce Courts on Commercial Street.

NEAD Family Pride Day

North End Against Drugs (NEAD) Family Pride Day will be held on Sunday, September 15 at Langone Park from 12 PM to 4:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to the annual events.

Weekly Block Parties on            The Greenway

The Boston Calling Block Parties series at Dewey Square Park on The Greenway kicks off. Block Parties are free and open to all every Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. all summer long with games, music, and beer and wine for purchase.

Boston Public        Market Returns

The Boston Public Market at Dewey Square returns to The Greenway with popular farmers market full of fresh and local foods. Purchase produce, flowers, and baked goods from over 20 local producers on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

FOCCP summer Events

The Friends of Christopher Columbus Park has some fantastic events scheduled for 2018. Please mark your calendar and plan to join your friends and neighbors in the Park for fun!

The next North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, September 13 at 7 PM in the Nazzaro Community Center.

BOSTON LOCAL              FOOD FESTIVAL

The 9th annual Boston Local Food Festival will be held on The Greenway on Sunday, September 16 from 11 AM to 5 PM.

FONE Bocce at       Skating Rink

Friends of the North End Bocce will continue through the winter every Sunday morning at the Steriti Rink indoor courts. Spectators are welcome to attend. Spring/Summer tournaments will begin in late May.
