Parks Improvements Plan Looks Good

A presentation by the Boston Parks Department for improvements to Puopolo Park, Langone Field, bocce courts, drainage, playground, basketball court, the Harbor Walk and some open space has apparently been blessed by North End residents at a recent public meeting.

Several public meetings have been held to get to this point.

Many local organizations use these parks for baseball, soccer, softball, bocce, playground use and special events throughout the spring, summer and fall.

These parks are mainly used by the North End Athletic Association (NEAA) and the North End Against Drugs (NEAD). In addition, there are many bocce tournaments and soccer programs.
