Candidates for the 2018 North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) will compete for six of the 12 seats up for election on Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street.
To be placed on the ballot nominees needed to secure 40 signatures of North End residents, be 18 years or older and prove proof of residency.
NEWNC meets monthly in the Nazzaro Center on a Monday evening at
 7 p.m. dealing with community related requests and issues.
Ballots will be counted publicly in the Center and the six winners will be announced by NEWNC President John Pregmon or his designee.
           In case of a recount, ballots for those in the recount will be recounted to determine the victor.
