Maria Ciampa Receives Good Neighbor Award

Maria Ciampa, lifelong resident of the North End, 48 Snow Hill Street, has been named “Good Neighbor” by the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) for her continuous role in cleaning the area in front of her home.

Janet Gilardi presented the Good Neighbor Award on behalf of NEWNC. “Maria, also a member on RUFF, has done an outstanding job helping to keep the neighborhood clean on a regular basis and we are proud to present her the well-deserved awards,” Gilardi said.

“It’s my distinct privilege to live in our little village of the North End. I believe it is also a responsibility to leave this planet better than when we found. So, whether it’s my Street or our new dog park; I believe we are the guardians of these little spaces in our unique community,” Maria said.
