NEAA Introduces Girls Softball Program

New North End Athletic Association (NEAA) Softball Commissioner Ralph Martignetti, has announced the organization is currently offering girls an opportunity to participate in a Softball Program starting in April.

“The girls (7-12) will train under the tutelage of softball guru Chuck Bilikas and learn the game from the basics upward,” Martignetti said.

Practices will start in April and when the girls are ready, games will begin in May.

“As time progresses, the NEAA will begin inviting other teams to the North End to play games against our girls” Martignetti said. “The hope is to have the program grow into a league from there,” he added.

“This is a great opportunity to get your daughter involved at the entry level of the game and help to grow a love for the game,” the Commissioner said.
