Joi Salon and Spa Escape Unveils Rebrand

Joi Salon and Spa Escape, a well-known Boston salon for the past 16 years, announced they are rebranding to Joi Salon and will become a full-service hair salon moving forward. Located in the heart of the North End, Joi Salon will renovate their current spa space to accommodate additional hair stations. Work on the new space will be completed in early 2018.

The rebrand and renovations come as Joi Salon founder and owner, Erica Harris, has seen the industry and her client’s needs change over the years. By shifting her brand to solely focusing on hair styling, Harris can now concentrate on what has grown to become the largest part of her business over the years. She will continue to work with her talented team of stylists to complete creative cuts and color, from balayage and foiling, to vivids and pastels to beautiful, rich single process.

“It has been inspiring to watch the industry change so much from the ways it used to be when I started. The trend techniques, the networking, continuing education and social media are all regular parts of our world now,” said Erica Harris, owner of Joi Salon. “I am very excited to put all of our energy and focus into growing and expanding our brand as a hair salon, and providing my stylists the space they need to be creative and successful.”

The renovation will open-up the current back space to make room for multiple shampoo stations and a relaxing processing space, as well as a private larger room for color mixing and staff break area.

As Joi Salon continues to grow and meet customer needs, they will be looking to add new talent to their team in 2018.

The salon has hosted several fundraisers for North End Against Drugs (NEAD).
