Labor Day weekend was a busy time in the North End as hundreds of college students moved in for the school season.
The city had several Public Works vehicles and employees patrolling the neighborhood to pick up discarded items left on sidewalks or in the street.
           Boston Police also had a presence in the community to keep the streets passable, or redirect traffic if needed during this yearly busy time.
