Public Safety Meeting/July 6

By Phil Orlandella

Crime numbers are rising in the North End/Waterfront by approximately two-percent and there is no apparent reason for the increase in Part 1 crimes.

Some residents believe it’s because of the warmer weather but that’s only a theory with no facts to verify this claim.

The answer to this and other questions will be answered at the next District 1 Boston Police, North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA), chaired by Dave Marx.

The monthly meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 6 at 6 PM in the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street.
