Third Paul Revere Mall (Prado) Restoration Meeting to be Held

Another community meeting to discuss a plan for the renovations of the Paul Revere Mall (Prado) has been scheduled for this coming June 2017, hosted by the Boston Parks Department.

Priorities recommended by the community will be the focus of this important meeting that include plans to refurbish the park established in 1925 and is the main route to the oldest North End Church, the Old North Church.

This is a terrific opportunity for local residents to help plan changes and improvements to the well-used park basically in the center of the neighborhood.

Thousands of residents and tourists use the park located on the Freedom Trail. Local schools use the Prado for many activities, many North End organizations do the same.

During good weather residents use the Mall to sit and relax, read a newspaper or a book or sit and discuss issues with friends and family members.

This is the third of three public meetings to discuss how the estimated cost of $1.4 million will be used to restore the popular Mall and possibly the last chance to take part in a major community endeavor. Construction is expected to commence in the spring of 2018.

One if by Land. Two if by Sea. Three if you care about your community.
