Rosina Mellace
Of Revere, formerly of Boston’s North End
Rosina (Squillacioti) Mellace of Revere, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on March 1. She was 95 years old.
Rosina came to the United States from Italy in 1962 and settled in Boston’s North End before moving to Revere in the early 1970’s. She was a devout parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church.
The beloved wife of the late Domenico, she was the beloved mother of Vincenzo Mellace and his wife, Maria of Revere, Salvatore Mellace and his wife, Michelle of N. Dartmouth, Leo Mellace of Revere and Anthony Mellace and his wife, Shannon of Dorchester; dear sister of Maria Ragosa of Medford and the late Leo Squillacioti. She is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere on Thursday, March 9 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
