North End Library Upgrade Completed

A comprehensive maintenance upgrade has been completed at the North End Library.

Maintenance included painting the ceilings and walls, updating interior and exterior lighting, repairing the inside plumbing and the exterior sidewalk masonry.

A suggestion box will be added for users to contribute ideas for additional changes and new programs for the Friends of the North End Library’s consideration.

The library is now much cleaner and brighter and patrons can enjoy using the facility in a well-lighted, relaxed and comfortable setting.

Through the efforts of the acting librarian, Friends of the Library, the staff of the Central Library, Copley Square and the behind the scenes support of Boston City Councilor Sal LaMattina the project was undertaken.
